At the beginning of the season the fish are toward the mouth
of Cook Inlet so we head for the western boundry. I've waited 7 years for this.
Fishing! Les puts the net out
Dents in the net line and splashing is what's its all about
And fish in the hold

Commercial salmon fishing is tightly controlled by the State.
There are only so many licenses allowed and the number of fish caught is closely
monitored. The openings are extended or shortened accordingly. We'll fish three
day per week to begin with.
